EU In Periodic Table?

EU.

Oh yes, I forgot to say - I like to post random things now and then about random things I found around the internet.

So today's blog post will be about the Eu element in the periodic table.

Its called Europium. So, because I am the worst at my periodic stuff and names and geography ect. So was Europe named after Europium or was Europium named after Europe. I, personally, think its named after Europe.
